A lost love and marriage is evoked in a poetic dance of longing and memory. A man is ushered into another world, by two guardian angels, in search of his lost bride. Their marriage and relationship is evoked through a series of kinetic snapshots and romantic dance sequences.
Dances Made to Order is a curated, monthly, online, dance film series. We feature 3 different artists every month who rise to the challenge to each create a 5 minute film in two weeks inspired by the ideas chosen by our audience. In 2012 we will spotlight a different American city and their unique dance culture every month. On May 2, the Atlanta edition curated by Malina Rodriguez of Dance Truck makes it’s online debut.
