On Saturday February 2nd, the Dance on Camera Festival at the Film Society of Lincoln Center will focus on music as it relates to dance, through a program of music videos from Sigur Ros’ newest album “Valtari.” Following the screening, make your way downtown with a live music and dj dance party accompanied by projected dance films at the music hub Nublu. The live program will feature Brooklyn-based electronic duo The Mast, with Matt Kilmer on laptop and live drums, and Haale on vocals. The Mast’s is post-dubstep and is inspired by early IDM and experimental beat music, with sporadic moments of live drumming and vocal improvisation. Come get your dance on! Let films that move, move you!
